I have recently been considering something in television. I enjoy acting, but it's a tough business to be in and involves lots of rejection and disappointment. I've considered screenwriting, which I think I would enjoy but might take a while to actually have a script read. I think that if I played it right, I could make it very far as a producer or executive in the television business.

Future
I've been thinking about college for a long time now, and my decisions keep changing. The decision mainly concerns which field of work I wish to pursue, which keeps changing as well. I doubt that I will ever come to the right decision, at least not anytime soon. I have thought about what I would really enjoy, what I would be good at, and what pays well. Sadly, nothing seems to fit all three categories. I had considered architecture for a while, but I just don't think I would enjoy it as must as I had thought. It can pay well, but only if you know what you're doing.

Either way, I'm going to keep looking at good colleges and apply to every scholarship I can.

If I Had A Time Machine... Part 2
With a time machine, there are so many possibilities, and therefore it's very difficult to pick just one thing that I would want to do. Now in this scenario, I fit the requirements for each event. For example, when asked what they would do, lots of people answer that they would go back and "punch Hitler". As if someone in the forties could just go up to Adolf Hitler and clock him square in the face. Anyway, here are some of the historical events that I wish I could have witnessed:
1. I’d definitely want to be in South Africa in 1994, on the day Nelson Mandela won the first democratic elections in the history of the country and was voted in as the first black president of South Africa. I’d like to see the lines of elderly black people who suffered under apartheid for fifty years waiting to vote. I’d want to get carried away, joining the women ululating and dancing the toyi-toyi in jubilation.
2. I've always wanted to be there for the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863, the day President Lincoln declared that American slaves had been set free.
3. The first landing on the moon, from the first planning session to the last post session.
4. Sojourner Truth’s “Ain’t I a Woman” speech
Those are my top 5 for now. I will continue to think about this, though.

If I had a Time Machine...Part 1
This is a difficult decision to make. But here goes. I couldn't decide whether I would go backwards or forwards. I finally came to the conclusion that if I had the power to do so, I would travel back in time to witness the best moments of history... theatre wise, that is. This is not a top ten list, it's just all of the ones that come to mind.
- Pink Floyd & The Who (New Year’s Eve, 1966, Manchester)
2. The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show (1964)
This would be amazing! This moment changed the world of music FOREVER, in my opinion.
Laurette Taylor as Amanda Wingfield in Glass Menagerie – in Chicago. BEFORE it came to New York.
Marlon Brando in the premiere of Streetcar Named Desire on Broadway.

The premiere of the first production of Oklahoma on Broadway. A revolution in the American musical. People were aware of it as it was happening, which is what is so amazing. The bar had been raised.
